Owner
Ernest, former Paramedic/Firefighter and founder of CPR 1st, has over 35 years of experience with the San Antonio Fire Department and more than 30 years as a certified AHA Instructor. His passion for community safety and hands-on learning has shaped CPR 1st into a trusted name in lifesaving education.
Instructors
At CPR 1st, our team is made up of dedicated professionals who bring real-world experience and a passion for teaching to every class. Our instructors include a skilled mix of active and retired paramedics, EMTs, nurses, and American Heart Association certified trainers. With years of hands-on emergency response behind them, they offer more than just instruction—they provide insight, confidence, and support as you learn life-saving skills in a relaxed and engaging environment.
Office Management
Behind the scenes at CPR 1st is a team that keeps everything running smoothly. Debbie, Co-Owner and Class Coordinator, brings years of experience and a commitment to exceptional service, ensuring every class is organized and each student is supported. Working alongside her is Sylvia, our Class Coordinator, who helps manage scheduling and communication with care and efficiency. Together, they make sure every training experience is seamless from start to finish.
